Burke Chemistry Laboratory Dartmouth College Hanover, NH
This new 81,000sf building accommodates expanded facilities for the Chemistry Department. These facilities include laboratories, faculty offices, seminar rooms and departmental offices.
The new structure is sited and its materials are selected to re-establish the continuity of the campus. The building planning and massing assemble the offices to support the collegiality of the department and to reduce the apparent size of the science complex.
The project was designed in association with Harry Ellenzweig Associates.
Richard McElhiney, Project Architect & Project Manager at his previous firm.
