Dan M. Russell, Jr. US Courthouse General Services Administration Gulfport, MS
The Dan M. Russell, Jr. US Courthouse project consists of a new 8-story US Courthouse building and renovation of an existing historic high school building into office space. The site is located adjacent to the proposed historic district on the ocean sound in Gulfport, MS. The project contains 180,000gsf of new construction, 37,000gsf of renovation, landscaped site work and parking for 150 cars. The construction cost was $46 million. The project features eight new courtrooms and chamber suites for the District, Magistrate and Bankruptcy Courts and office space for the Appellate Court judge, US Senate, US Attorney, US Probation, US Marshals and GSA.
