Grumman Hall Renovation Phase 1 Cornell University Ithaca, NY

Grumman Hall contains approximately 15,000sf on 3 stories, and is home to the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. The first floor currently contains 4 labs, 4 offices, and various support spaces.

The project includes a plan for renovation of the full first floor and part of the second. Phase 1 construction includes the renovation of about half of the first floor to accommodate laboratory space and student support space. Select offices on the second floor will also be included for additional student support space. The renovation includes new mechanical systems, new lighting, new finishes throughout, revised wall and door layouts, new laboratory bench furniture, lab equipment, and utilities/services required to support the new furniture and equipment.
