Philips Hall was constructed in 1955 and includes 99,774 gsf enclosed in a horizontal block shape with a flat roof in the International Style.
The scope of work includes Architecture & Engineering Design Phase services for space modernization and renovation for the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE).
The desired outcome of the University is for Phillips Hall to become an attractive, dynamic and flexible facility to attract and retain faculty, particularly in circuits research. The project reconfigured nine faculty offices and four laboratory spaces, as well as creating a new maker space.
