Cecilia Hui

Designer

Cecilia Hui has practiced architecture for eight years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto in 2012 with a major in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Yale University School of Architecture in 2017.

Cecilia is experienced in many project types, primarily museums and exhibitions, as well as healthcare, residential, and mixed-use development. She has worked in five countries at offices of Aedas, DavidClovers, Nordic Office of Architecture, Takenaka Corporation, and UNStudio. Prior to joining Richard McElhiney Architects, Cecilia worked for an LA-NY-based Architecture firm focused on Museum Architecture, Exhibit, and Casework designs. Some of her past projects include the Metropolitan Museum of Art Rockefeller Wing renovations in New York City, exhibit design for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Arts in Los Angeles, Dib Bangkok Museum, and the ILMI Science Museum in Saudi Arabia. She has a deep commitment to Cultural Inclusivity, Sustainability, Universal Design and working with clients and stakeholders to realize a shared vision. She is currently working multiple projects for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
