Adelbert Hall Case Western Reserve University Cleveland, OH

This 60,000sf renovation of an historic building houses the main administration facilities for the University. It accommodates the offices of the President, Provost, senior administrators and staff, meeting rooms and ceremonial spaces.

Heavily damaged by fire, the building lost its roof, stone tower, dormers and all interior finishes, including a three-story-high monumental stair. The new exterior is designed to be consistent with the original architectural style and materials. The new stair is recreated in the spirit of the original, and the offices incorporate the most recent advances in mechanical systems and data/telecommunications infrastructure.
