John Jay College Natatorium Renovation DASNY New York, NY
John Jay College (JJC) is part of New York’s, City University system. Located in Haaren Hall on Manhattan’s upper west side, this project is a gut-renovation of an existing 30 year old swimming pool to meet current NCAA, accessibility and code requirements. The project is 8,400gsf and consists of the swimming pool, locker rooms, life guard office and storage rooms plus pool filtration, pump and mechanical rooms. The project contains all new systems, finishes and details including a new wave shaped teak ceiling with a switchable glass observation window. Full design services are included. Nine consultants form the project team. The project was produced in Revit.
