Dining Hall Renovation & Addition The Hill School Pottstown, PA
This project included a complete renovation of all areas of the existing Dining Hall. The first was the serving pantry and express cooking. The second was the balance of the kitchen, including coolers, storage, bakery, and dishwashing, as well as a new dumbwaiter and a new elevator. The third area was the dining room itself. Work in this space included a new structural floor slab, new air conditioning, a new sprinkler system, and new A/V systems. These were introduced while preserving every aspect of the historic character of the room. The fourth area was a new Board Room on the second floor. The total area of the project was 30,000sf, and the construction cost was $11,500,000.
